State and activation
Configuration changes restart etcd while retaining its database in /var/lib/aos-pkg-etcd. Binding beyond loopback also requires explicit firewall policy.
Cluster topology
The local member must appear in cluster.members and its peer URLs must exactly match peer.advertiseUrls. Use etcdctl membership operations before changing the declared topology of a live cluster.
Transport security
Client and peer certificates, private keys, and CA bundles are opaque references delivered only through systemd credentials. HTTPS is required whenever TLS is enabled.
